How do I attach motor to power pod?

Hi folks, building my first RC plane – the FT Storch. Not getting very far! Bought the precut kit with the recommended electronics. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to attach the motor to the power pod.

Obviously, the wires in this picture must be stationary. Thus, that part of the motor must be attached to the power pod. But the tiny screws that came with the motor are far too short to go through the firewall and then into the motor. And, being machine screws with beveled heads, it doesn't look like they are supposed to go through a piece of wood. I just don't get it.

Is this motor supposed to be mounted inside the power pod? If so, the crankshaft isn't long enough to extend outside of the fuselage. I just don't get it.

I have experimented with many other permutations, as well. I have taken off the plate with the silver screws, to no avail. I cannot figure out how the black circular bracket can be used. It attaches nicely to the rotating part of the motor with those silver screws, but what good is that, because that part of the motor rotates? I just don't get it.

I can't see any way to make the other pieces that came with the motor work, either. The tiny screws are far too short to go through the large plus-shaped bracket and then into the motor. How in the world is that bracket supposed to be used? I just don't get it.

I see that the wood screws would easily attach the "plus" bracket to the firewall. And that bracket will attach to the stationary part of the motor. But, again, the crankshaft is coming out let side of the motor. I just don't get it.
I just don't get it.

I have some mechanical ability, and can often figure out these kinds of puzzles. It all looks so easy in Josh's video. But I am stymied in the very early stages! I would love some help! Thanks so much!

(Incidentally, I am trying to attach to photos via my iPhone. I hope it works.)

Got it!

Oh, for heavens sake. After about 90 minutes of frustration, I put everything away and almost retired for the night. But then I looked at a couple videos very carefully, and I suddenly saw how it goes together. I had not realized that the screw attached to the circular bracket was the actual prop shaft. Seems so easy now!

Oh, thanks, ElectriSean. You must've posted your photos while I was posting my own response. But thanks anyway. Wish I could build more tonight, but time to go to bed.
Cheers,
John
