How much much space for FT Flyer?

Okie, 60/80 DR w/ 30 expo (actually triple rates, really liking the 9XR!). Got the nose fixed up enough to try again, hopefully in a day or so.

Okay! Out and back! Couple more dirt-naps for the Flyer, but it was all me! Lower throws really helped, though 60% seemed too much for Elevator and not quite enough for Rudder. It seemed that the rudder worked partly as rudder, part as aileron, which made it pretty hard to make a U-turn. Is that normal?

But now, I'm not sure the Flyer's going to recover from this series of face-plants. Probably need new powerpod too. Its pretty crumpled.

rudder will act like an aileron when it's all above the center line like the flyer has. And yeah, keep the throws on the rudder higher.

Lawn darting is a popular sport among both noobs and experienced alike . . . but it's something the noobs excel at. don't sweat it, build a new pod and invest in props ;)
