Actually they don't. the do go in a general mailbox for mods and admins to check before deleting or gently reminding people to change language and such.

After I posted that I realised they don't. All the times I've thought I've see them disappear someone has messaged them telling them that their post was naughty and then I go check the unanswered threads and then I thought the got deleted. lol. My bad.
