Help! How to connect bullet connectors without damaging the motor?

I just got my motor and I connected it to my 30A ESC it was really hard to use my wee arms to get the bullet connecters in, and I had to use the table and 2 hands to apply pressure to the bullet connectors but one of the wires of the motor fell off from the bullet connectors. How do I properly connect them and do you think my ESC is damaged too?

Thanks!

bullet connectors need be soldered on the wire.
You needed use much pressure to get it in... shure your bullets are right size?

Oh are you talking the part to cover up the exposed part of the wire? Where did you buy these from? Did they come pre-soldered or did you do it? If the rubber part comes off all you need is a lighter to scrunch that thing back on.

They were pre-soldered and I don't have any things that can make a flame.

Ah, well any heat will work. I don't have much knowledge otherwise on bullet connectors.

Any heat WON'T work... needs to be an iron to make contact with the surface, and needs to be SUPER hot... its a good investment for even a basic one, especially if you are planning to go far in this hobby, soldering skills will save you money and hassle!!

if i do that won't the same thing happen again?

If I am understanding correctly, the wire ripped out of the bullet connector due to using a lot of force to try to fit them together... as others have said if you need to use a lot of force then something isn't right... bullets should be snug but should slide in and out without too much work. For reference I always use electrical tape on my bullets just to make sure they don't come undone with impacts... you may want to totally resolder all the bullets, to get them right for good.... buy these bullets and perform the process shown in the video posted above. many of us on here actually prefer the motor/esc wires direct soldered together, thats another good option if you are looking to not mess with soldering bullets and want supreme durability.

Whether you decide to re-solder or not. You wan't to cover up any exposed bullet connector that isn't concealed by the rubber part, or heat shrink, when the two are linked together. Also, thank you for correcting me on how to reattach heat shrink in the best way possible, and by explaining the way bullet connectors should fit right together.

just look on the shared video here, so easy should it be to get the bullet connectors together, if not, one of the parts IS wrong size!
