Help! How to measure length in plan?

Hey! I'm new in this hobby and just downloaded some flight plans but can't understand the scale bar .can any one help me to measure the length. Thanks

every plan have such bar as eg

shown here... its 1 inch, or 1 cm each square. Zoom your plans IN or Out till this fits when check measurement by a ruler.

When you print the plans, print the scale bar first. Measure it with a ruler to see if is accurate, if necessary, scale your printer adoringly. You may need to put in a number something like 102% to to make the scale print accurately. Your plans will be off if you don’t get the scale right.
