Ok, so I know how to pick a BL motor for my ground stuff...KV rating and motor size...IE 280, 380, 540, 550 ect.
But I don't know how to read size info for plane motors.
I have been using stick mount motors, cause that is what my Dynam plane (1st 4ch plane) had so I have a decent idea how much plane they can handle.
But they have a very long prop shaft that is prone to snapping if you crash. and they are for slower flying planes ect.
Ive been trying to scratch build planes without plans. I have had some success, but I feel I would do better if I built the swappable planes. but to do that, I have to be able to pick out some size/type motors.
