hows it going

What type of RC craft, fixed wing or multi rotor, do you want to fly? If it's all of 'em which do you want to start with? If you clarify that, somebody can at least tell you how that works, and you can expand from there. As far as general aerodyncamics, there's a lot at play. If you are going multi rotor it has a lot to do with algorithms and transmitter programming, plus power plant and thrust to weight concerns, and probably a lot more the multi-rotor aficionados can fill you in on. As far as fixed wing, your main concerns are wing shape, wing profile(air foil or absence of one), wing loading, center of gravity, thrust to weight ratio, thrust angle, and control setup. For control setup you need to know what the different control surfaces on a fixed wing plane are called and how they opperate.
