Since all most of these will need multiple motors I will only build one. These will be for a club competition and I just want to know which one would A. be unique, B. most likely be able to take off from maiden, and C. probably able to become an RC 6 or less channel aircraft. Included are the Wikipedia pages for each aircraft. I hope That this also inspires you to look at other aircraft that you may have never heard of, thanks in advance

I've always been in love with the F-15. Powerful looking plane in real life or in foam.

Same here, probably my favorite fighter jet took these pictures at Oshkosh, definitely best sounding but I still have never built or flown an EDF :( by then I hopefully will

Not enough airliners being built and you have plenty of good ones on that list, a couple which I've never heard of until now. I voted for the airspeed ambassador. Sleek, practical twin engine design. That one should be impressive but reasonably straight forward to build and a good flyer.

The hardest thing for me about trying to build a four engine plane would be justifying putting four motors on one plane when I could be building multiple different planes with them😆

The Poll will close on May 21st, and after that I will start a build thread on the winning aircraft which will be finished by October 2020.

I love looking at aircraft I've never heard of, the more obscure the better, and some that were popular in their time but not many know of now. I mentioned earlier which one I voted for but just want to add that whichever you end up doing I'll be interested to see how it turns out! You must have a cool club that does a competition like that and must know what your doing at least somewhat to even list those planes as options to build👍. I'll be doing a Dash 8 soon here and it will be my first twin engine in all three areas, design, build, and fly.

I really liked the ambassador, but the Dove was second on my list. The super Connie is very nice too, I just think twin engines are a little more sporty and practical for fixed wing foamies(I'm still learning though). May change up my vote at the last second...

The dove would make a great park flyer, and that profile looks cool. I would imagine it would be good for practicing curved parts, too.

So, as you can tell the Dove won the vote by 2 points. Don't be disappointed if yours lost because that doesn't mean that it will never become a foam board design. I will start a build thread on the Dove which remember won't have its maiden flight until 2020! Later on in the design process a separate thread for the plans. Thanks to anyone who voted or commented. Here is the new thread https://forum.flitetest.com/index.p...rspeed-velocity-of-an-unbatteried-dove.58733/
