Help! I can't get the reverse to work on my rc setup

Without any more details and based on my experience your esc is probably just forward. At least mine was considering it was for fixedwing airplanes and i was installing it on a car and it didnt cross my mind it wouldnt have reverse. If i am wrong on this and someone know how to make some esc do reverse i want to know too cuz i have one of those here

1) On the ESC, make sure the single wire is hook up to the signal side on the receiver channel.
2) On the transmitter, set up a 2 position switch(such as gear) to the same channel as the yellow wire, so when you flip the gear switch, it moves from one end of servo to the other.
3) Check prop/EDF direction , if reverse, change the servo direction.
