Creating an accurate 3D model is easy; it takes time but isn't complicated, especially for flight test models, which have simplified geometry. The tricky part is creating the model's UVW mapping and aligning it with the model's plane without distortion, while ensuring that the x,y position of the texture or graphic matches the x,y position of the UVW map—which is the model's plane. I’m not saying it can’t be done, but it involves a lot more effort. And even then, I wouldn’t guarantee it would be 100% successful.
