Hey Brian, I bought 2 of the FT P-51 and made up a 16" space in between the two fuselages. Had to get the dihedral correct for each fuselage. Aside from making them parallel and square. It's not to scale but a challenge and a fun build.

North American Aviation built 3 A-51's but I couldn't find out what happened to them. Back in those days the government made them scrap models that didn't go into production.
