imax B6 Problem

AAAAAAgh
After waiting two weeks to fly because I was worried about the state of my batteries
my new imax B6 lipro balance charger arrived today, so I unbox it and read the directions
and all seemed good to go so I set the battery type = lipo, amps=2.2, volt = 11.1
all set, so I enter confirm for 3 seconds and it starts to charge for about a second then
input voltage error comes up every time and with every battery. Now all the inputs are correct
so I was wondering if any one else has had this problem and how they got over it.
Thanks in advance if any one can help

what are you using as a power source?

if its a 12v transformer (power brick) you had laying around, how many amps is it?

Yup- The input voltage it's complaining about is the source voltage to the charger.

It's probably looking for about 12v.
A fully charged car battery is around 13.something and should work fine.
Thses chargers usually work well within a range of 12 to 16 volts.
Not sure what the specs are on your charger.

Same question as Fred, what are you using for the input power source?

Thanks gents...I think you 2 guys nailed my problem the input source is 12 volt so it must be
the ampage if i charge the batteries at 0.1 amp then i have no problem as soon as i up the
ampage to anything above i get the input voltage error so they are charging but i will be dead
before they finish, so i will source another power source
Once again thanks
