In Aura Config, what is the difference between "Elevons Type A and Type B"

I'm building the Millennial Flerken and will probably put the Aura 5 in it to start. In the Aura 5 there are the options for "Elevons Type A and Type B." What's the difference and which should I select for the Flerken?

This is for when you have the elevens plugged in the wrong way around.

A/B allows you to "Electronically Swap" servo eleven ports if there pluged in the wrong way around.

Previously without the "Elevons Type A and Type B" you had to "physically unplug" each elevon servo plug and swap servo ports "if" they need swaping.

Thanks Andrew. That's good to know.

This is a great question and I have never quite figured it out, but I do know that all the elevon wings I have used the aura in work fine with type B rather than A. My guess was it has to do with if the control surfaces move in the same or opposite direction when given the same input signal. After seeing @Andrew s answer above, I am going to do some more testing....

Did some testing, with Elevon type A/B. Left servo plugged into port 2 as recommended by the configurator, Right servo plugged into port 3 as recommended by the configurator. The difference is Elevator is mixed opposite between A/B. So if your ailerons are right, but the elevator is backwards, you use the opposite type. Are there other ways to accomplish the same thing? Sure. But I try to make it work the way it was intended. Not that it always does.

Some comments about Elevon type A/B.

1) Reason why, both servos were not mirror imaged(flipped, rotated? when installed).
2) If it doesn't work, I always reverse leads going into the receiver. Reason being, I wrote a mix off elevator one time and it didn't work due to going to Elevon B, it now was aileron.
3) After you switch leads and now the reverse happens, it still doesn't work.

4) Here is the key- you need to go in your transmitter to servo reversing.
5) Say-- turn on the reversing for aileron and move the controls. If it is right, fine, you solved it

If it is still wrong direction, reverse that switch, back out of aileron. Now, go to elevator servo and reverse direction for that servo. Move controls and that should be right.

6)Concept----You must change direction of only one servo, that being the one that has the wrong direction.

Happy trails!!!!

Careful. The changes MUST be made in the Aura not in the Radio or the stabilization will hammer your plane right into the ground.
