My old fogey came out very crooked due to some mistakes I made in final assembly...but still flies great. It looks a little funky in the sky (slides kind of sideways going straight) and has a bit of a preference for one direction over the others....but overall it's a very reliable flier.

As for gluing plans. I use the Krylon Easy Tack spray adhesive (http://www.krylon.com/products/easytack-repositionable-adhesive/) which holds the plans on the foamboard well enough that I've never had them come off accidentally. But is a light enough bond that they just peel right off when I'm done and don't leave any residue.

I've also used spray glue sold in a craft store for holding paint stencils in place and it worked just as well...but the krylon is cheaper.
