I finally got around to build this bird. In fact, I actually built her earlier this summer. Just wanted to post some images of how I put her together. As you can see I used barbecue skewers to hold the wing on instead of rubber band. I'm just getting tired of them stretching and not holding tight and having to replace them all the time. I've tried this technique on another plane and it seems to work well. Oh and I also 3D printed the landing gear and wheels. I know it's not scale but nothing else on the bird is either. But It looks like it will be a fun plane to fly. Thanks for the plans, it was a fun build. Maybe some day I'll post some flight video.
