I’D have to say I havn’t started yet and just do regular aerobatics as the litmis test seems to be being able to do a decent Harier and I can’t. I go to this thing every October that draws the best so I’ve met some of the best and it blows my mind .

Ok, I guess I should clarify... I got my Ultimate 3d 4ish months ago, and have been banging the sticks about 1 time a week since then...

Well I’m old ** and advance very slowly but that doesn’t stop me from having a lot of fun. I’ve been flying RC planes that are capable of 3d for several years now. Perhaps 2025 is the year I master the Harrier?

I have JUST started and can do about 2-3 inverted circles around myself and do about a 5sec hovers, low n slow passes (With a airsoft gun shooting at me (The plane not me) ) and inverted I find easy... at least when the plane is towards me..I should say though that I have practiced in the sim a LOT so I guess I kinda have a head start....Though nothing beats real life! (@Mr Man is quite a bit better😂👍)

That was the main thing I did, figured out that there was a narrow field of view setting on the hero 4 🤦🏼 😂

I was to a fly in back in July talking to a guy ( cannot remember his name ) that was an incredible 3D flyer. I asked him how long at flying 3D he said long enough to wear out 9 sets of gimbals on his radio using a sim. His rolling circles were perfect at wide open throttle, knife edges about a foot off the turf with no variance in height, it was fun to watch him..
