At 2:30 in the video (4:25 on the OSD) I flip INAV to Autotune, at which point I lost all control other than throttle. It would not flip back to manual mode and was stuck in a slow death roll to the right.....

unrelated but about a week ago i bought an AeroScout to make up for the loss of a hobbyzone p51 to bad brushes. i bought it becauseit seemed capable and a good plane to practice flying on. Now im starting to think it wasnt worth the 250 dollars. Is it still a good and capable plane for someone with a little bit of experience, and can it be used and enjoyed longer down the line?

what i know is that i got a dxs out of it so i can bind that to other planes. i should also mention i have a very small space, like 250x150

I had something like that happen to me today, lol So I was testing my high speed radjet at full throttle and when I pulled up it must have broken the vertical stabilizer loose and all I could do is watch it go in a slow spiral down to the ground and listen for the CRASH,,,,,,All I heard was the CRUNCH of it landing in a blackberry bush! (Thankfully I put BBQ in the leading edge so there isn't a dent in it!...Just a little scratched! LOL)

Yeah if you fly above it it will be a LOT easier...It took me a while to realize that and I smashed countless planes in the process! (I fly in about a 3 acre yard)

I fly well……. Everywhere I guess.😂. Even in a small backyard with my FT Spitfire, I basically just went up, then up, then up…. Then I was in danger of loosing my plane in someone else’s tree!🤣. But landed it safe in a very tight space.

yeah youre probably right i just dont want to deal with taking 30 mins to land from up there

The thing is we have power lines (AKA Death lines) strung smack bang right in the center of it so I can only use about half of it for landing.

Just make sure you don't stall on the turns when slowing down.
