Might be A silly question but the tiny 2030 props that come with this quad are not thinner on the trailing edge like a plane prop.
how do you tell what side is up ?

If the size of the prop is printed on the blade - that's the top, additionally the blades are normally curved across their length, the concave curve faces down.

Also look at the hubs. Top will be flat and smooth bottom will be open and structured.

Left side is up. The slot on the right I assune is a propietary method to lock the prop to the motor so it does not spin free.

Another wayvto tell is to look at them from the side. The highest part is always the leading edge.
