KK2 battery voltage indicator issue

I have a KK2 board (v1.2 firmware), soldered the wires for the battery voltage indication. When I initially set this up, it worked fine. Now, sometimes it will show 0.0v when I plug in a charged battery. And, sometimes it works fine. Any ideas?

it could be that the cable has developed an internal break or it could be as simple as a dry solder joint.

I went in from the bottom on the + wire, then heat shrunk both the + and - wire together, then CA'd the shrink to the bottom of the board in a bare spot. I was paranoid about that exact thing seeing how I used a needle tip soldering pen for both contacts.
