Laine's Planes Normal Norman
When I was in Ohio for FliteFest Laine let me fly 2 of his Norman's. The (Normal Norman) 3 channel and the (Nifty Norman) 4 channel.
I needed one and opt'd to buy the 3 channel Norman. I plan on buying the aileron wing next time.
Spec:
480 960kv motor
35 Amp ESC
12x6 Prop
3S 4000
17g MG servos
PDB with switches for the LEDS
Lots of LEDs
Build wise, hot glue and some wood glue. I used gorilla glue because I had that on hand.
Laine's instructions are super clear and rather fun to follow.
I built Norman over the course of a few evenings and only had to modify the firewall to suit the older PZ 480 motor I had.
As you can see from the video Norman flies great. Can't wait to try some evening flying.
