I would like to get a cheap laser cutter for foamboard and maybe wood for Christmas, I don't know if this is the place but do any of you all know a decent laser cutter under $500?
I’m far from an expert with lasers. It’s my understanding that foam board is on of the more difficult things to cut with a laser. The paper is easy to cut but the white foam is difficult. It takes a lot of power, 40 watts or more. A laser of that power is dangerous and expensive, $1,500 or more.
