Bunk. Lifting bodies are cool and all, but those Bernelli THEORETICAL models are pretty funny. Somehow they are going to take something with the frontal area the size of a barn and fly it at normal commercial speeds. Right after they warp space time that is. Modern airliners have smaller wings just because to have more structure would lower top end speed, which we are all willing to trade for due to the high safety margin. You are more likely to have an accident in a city buss then on an airliner.
