Listen to Josh and David...

During my first FT build, the Tutor, I ignorantly omitted the glue/bread tie/heatshrink servo extension insurance. Well today I was getting a little crazy in the air since I had the whole field to myself and as I was descending for a landing I lost control. I had no elevator response. Luckily I blipped the throttle to lift the nose just before impact. Came down hard on the gear and somersaulted on the wings. Incredibly the rubber bands did their job and broke loose. Landing gear is tweaked, wing corners are creased but this amazing little plane will fly again. I think I'll offer her to the combat gods next year to retire it but man what a cool little plane. Long story short, listen to Josh and David on the tech channels when they suggest something!

What are you people doing that the connectors disassemble? Never had that happen without doing an explosive disassembly crash, even on the janky Mattel radio system I had. And Yes, Mattel had RC planes for a while

Mine are nothing special, I just didnt know that several other members already have made the same thing. Here's my thingiverse link.
thanx for this. I normally just poke the skewers through but I'm doing a large build and these will work great if I can dust off my old math skills and size them right. If not, I'll use them as an example and make new files.

Im actually working on a female piece to glue on the wing bottoms to loosely slot these into so we can make semi functional yet easily removed wing spars. Sure it'll be more for looks than anything but my Twin Otter needs them lol
