I feel indoor season coming on soon. Time to pick back up on the micro builds in hopes that these will be viable indoor flyers. Going to work on the tail sitter VTOL first since hovering should be plausible indoors. I was also just given and received another one of the nano FlyingRC F4 wing FCs which will be the perfect brain for the project. Will give me tailsitter experience for my FT Piggy build too.

Have it all soldered up and loaded the latest version of ArduPilot on it. Going to start with the Nano Goblin settings, add a second motor, thrust differential, and enable tailsitter mode.

Since it is a micro build, I soldered the XR2 ELRS RX directly to the serial port pins.

I have two complete setups printed with ABS for working with the TailSitter setup. One EA Red/Black. The red would be easy to have orientation LEDs showing through.

the black and white winglets are the tailsitter variety, the red are the normal for comparison.

The Emax 9251 servos are the perfect size. The 9051 are too deep. The upper frame has one of each for comparison, the bottom frame has 9251 on both sides. The 9051s might work if they were attached outside the frame mounts. For lightness, the 9251s are the better choice anyway. I didn't realize there was a size difference between them until I started going through my servo stash. I think the 9251s would be a good choice for my Simple Slow Stick build too, but they are smaller than the standard servo holders, so I'll have to create some smaller servo holders to print for that.
