one reason is exemplified in your video. I know you had to do some lighting enhancement due to fact a lot of your clips look to be in very low light conditions.....and we all know how gopro(s) handle low light (or dont lol). If i was to do the same enhancement via PowerDirector it would kill original quality....yours looks great!
I used to use PowerDirector, then I switched to Sony Vegas which I like but has a bunch of issues. Only recently have I started using Adobe. Out of the 3 I thing Premier offers the most tools and is more geared towards advanced users.
You will actually be happy to know that I did no lighting injancements to my video in terms of bringing up the shadows. All I added was around 15% contrast which actually darkens the shadows and brightens the highlights. Then I added sharpening to the video. That's it. So the footage isn't too far off what the gopro produced. All clips were shot at 1080p 60fps. And almost all clips were then slowed to 30fps vibrations.s the video more smooth when played back.
Key to nice smooth video from a gopro mounted on an aircraft is wide shots filmed at high fps and slowed down or 25-30 fps and played at normal speed. 60 fps played back at normal speed will reveal any and all vibrations.
I'm glad you liked it. If you want any tips feel free to ask, I'm learning too!
