Help! Looking for 3D Printed Rc Airplane design Ideas!

Hey guys! So I am going to try and design a fully 3D printed Rc airplane for the Thingiverse Take Flight Challenge and I am looking for ideas of what I should design! Should it be something super beginner friendly like a cub, mid speed FPV wing, or like a high end FPV VTOL platform? Or I could even do some sort of drone!

I came across the Rockwell HiMat recently, and that would be awesome. But pry very complicated and don't know if you'd be able to even find the proper specs. Only two ever made. It sure looks cool though.

Thanks! I have already built it and it flies great! (Used a couple 3536 1000kv motors and a 6500mah 4s lipo and it had plenty of power!)

Also it is kinda drone/plane and drones have grown a LOT on popularity in the last couple years! I figure if I can make a step by step guide on how to build it and provide a a dump file with all the settings for the FC it should have a good chance of winning! (I will probably go with the Speedybee F405 Wing FC (Or a Corewing clone) as those are very popular choice in fixed wings...And I can add ardupilot later for the HUGE amount of options😁)

Maybe someday!👍😁 This one was designed with LONG range in mind, so I made it bigger so it doesn't struggle as much in winds and can carry more camera gear.

I have a FPV glider, it's fun when the wind is right. Been thinking about a different type of long range FPV plane. I got plenty of 3536's laying around. Might have to give it a try. What kind of flight time? .......... And just for anyone reading this. By long range I mean as far as my spotter can visually see it.🙄🙄

I haven't given it a long range flight test yet (I only flew it once...and its got damaged in storage) but I am hoping for 1 long flights! (Might/probably end up more like at 30mins..Unless I try a bunch off 18650 batteries)
