Well all..Big change of plans!😂😂 So it didn't look like I was going to get the VTOL done in time, because I'm gonna need to do a lot of tuning and such to the the VTOL tilts and everything working reliably so last night I hammered out this speed plane! I have the fuselage printing and the plans for the wings all done and ready to start building😁 I think I'm gonna name it the "Raven" and it will run a 3536 1800kv motor!

ACTUALLY...Looking at the rules, it looks like I could enter my foamboard/3d printed VTOL long range drone, airplane I have been working on!

I've sort of hacked a Craycle Orca 2 and turned it into a VTOL. Still ironing out kinks but will be fun.

Are you publishing the plans for your foam board / 3d printed plane?

Nice! That looks like a sweet plane!😁 As far as with the plans I have be thinking of listing them somewhere like on printables.com for like $15ish, and hope to maybe even start making kits for them down the road!

You'll definitely want bigger control surfaces if you want to do that - and with how long it is you'll probably get some nasty pitch oscillations since the wing doesn't give much damping

Yeah....I was thinking of cutting them a bit bigger on the plans👍

I don't have super high hopes for SPEED on this one, but we will see what she has😂👍 I'm gonna either do @Mr Man's 3D printed speed plane or his radjet for the speed challenge👍
