Shoot, was hoping to see at least Mr Man's plane in that line up.
I suspect they prioritized stuff with really good documentation and that was easily accessible unfortunately. Both Mr. Man's and mine were probably pretty technically competent compared to most of the entries, but both require a fair bit of skill on the part of the pilot where a stabilized quad is about as easy to fly as it gets. I also know I didn't include good assembly documentation and Mr. Man's didn't have a flight video, so I feel ok with the outcome.
As an RC enthusiast, the glider is meh, but as a 3D printing enthusiast it is stunningly well engineered and I will be downloading it and taking notes, so I suspect that's why it won - guess competing on a 3D printing website I should have gone for printing over good flight performance
