Looking for old free flight timers

As some of you may know I live in Cuba and here it is very difficult to get parts and pieces to fly. I have a friend who is just starting and needs help, I know that many of the more experienced modelers had the good fortune to practice some free flight modes and maybe someone has some mechanical timer out there.
Please if you are that person and are willing to donate for my friend I would appreciate it. I have a family member who will be traveling to Cuba from Kansas and could be a way to send it.
