Louis Rossmann who runs a laptop repair store has been advocating for Right to Repair for a long time. Being fed up with lobbyists and companies selling their talking points to the politicians, he has now started a 501c4 nonprofit called Repair Preservation Group Action Fund which seeks to get Right to Repair legislation passed - through a direct ballot initiative. These allow citizens to vote on legislation. This way, people - NOT politicians, decide on whether something becomes a law.
