Almost finished the Mach-None this weekend. Thought I would share... the build was smooth. My son has a friend... now my friend, that made a CNC Machine so all of the parts and score cuts came out perfect.

Looks great. I like the use of color tape, I need to try that. I had a couple Ace Pacers and Mach None's, great flying little planes.

Thanks, I have not mastered the tape, I don't think that's possible because it can be very evil at times. It wants to stick to items you don't want it to stick to. I cut the foam pieces out and then cover them individually 90% of the time before construction. Then glue them into place. This is a semi symmetrical wing per the original design. I find that if you do all your cuts and crease lines then put the tape on, it works best. The green is my least favorite of colors because it shows the most over-lap. The red, yellow, black and blue work great. If you want to make designs pin stripes or even star burst you can. You can take blue painters tape lay it on a steal 2" X 24" or similar, you can cut out any size you want pull it off the laying surface and place it on the airplane... Just know you get one shot at it, to pull the tape of the foam paper can be a disaster. Attached is just a quick pic of basic pin stripe, letters, basic design. Tape-1.JPG
