Makerfoam and old FT plans

Hi guys,

So I got my hands on some makerfoam. I want to make the mini F22. I am wondering if should scale up the plans (if so how much?) , because the plans are based on the old 5mm foamboard. The makerfoam is thicker.

I can't think of a reason to upscale plans for MKR2. It should be the same thickness as original MKR and WR, unless you have Monster Foam which is 85% thicker. In that case you would scale up 185%.
What is the thickness of the foam board you have?

My new question is are there any MKR2 f22 mni plans? I tried the site search engine without any result.
Located in this wildly popular thread:

Thanks, I found these as well. I think these plans are for the old brown paper 5mm foamboard not for the new white paper makerfoam foamboard.

It is the same plans for both.
EDIT: The brown (WR) and white (MKR2) are the same thickness.
The "MKR2" designation refers only to the type of foam board and has nothing to do with the plane or plans.

I'm sorry for the hassle guys, I really appreciate your help. The foamboard I have is white, bi-fold, however it is about 8mm thick.
Does this mean I got scammed? Edit: I didn't buy it directly from the flitetest store.

You didn't get scammed, it just isn't what's is commonly used and since it is thick and folded, I suspect it is ELMERS. There are people building stuff with it, but it is noticeably heavier. The whole point to ADAMS redi-board was a buck or two for all the lite semi-structural foamboard needed to build a plane and dollar stores everywhere sold it (and sometimes it came in different colors)

Thanks for the explanation 🙂
