If I built something today, it would be more for endurance/range than speed. I got tired of landing every 2-5 minutes to swap batteries out. Also why I mistly fly planes now.

But is everyone going to think like that? Probably not... I think the younger generation likes power and speed! That's what you see all over YT.

Hey @LitterBug, On one of my builds I am going to resell I was powering everything up for the first time and I had it going for a little bit and then i realized there was no antenna on it.....It still works just fine but do you think I should swap it out with a new one or should it be fine?

I realize this is kinda a "Its up to you" question but I was just wondering if it would actually damage it if it is still working.....

Hey @LitterBug, I am using Inav for programming a 7" quad i am building......I am having troubles getting my quad to hold still in the setup tab...I have followed Painless 360's guide but for some reason its not working...Any ideas?
PS. I have a Walksnail GPS on it and it on a 3G printed part at a approximately 25 degree angle

Hmmmm. I have been playing with quads on INAV the last week-ish with 4 different boards of two different makes. ( 2 ea of dRonin Seppuku and SpeedyBee F405-wing mini) I do notice that it does take a few seconds to settle down after moving after first flashed, But after calibration, Things seem OK. Which version of INAV, what OS are you running the configurator on, what FC, and does your GPS have a compass?

If GPS has a compass, it could be magnetic/electrical interference with the magnetometer.

Which tab in the configurator? Initial Setup Screen?

Yeah, the board I am using is the Speedybee F405 V4 board. I am running Inav version 8.0.1 (The newest) I am running it on Linus Mint ans yes i do have a compass and it could very well be getting messed with because its sitting on top of my PC.

One other thing to try is disable the mag on the configuration screen. Make sure it doesn't show on the top bar of the configurator. Then see if it still moves. That can help determine in the MAG is related.

Also go to the sensors tab. You should have straight lines scrolling across if it is not moving.

I unplugged the GPS/MAG on this one.
