[Flying Farm Kid]

Finally getting around to making a forum post for this plane... The initial design and build happened over a year ago. The plane built well and was well received at flite fest many people asked for planes so here they come. This plane is a fantastic floaty park flyer that is remarkably easy to build and can fit in the back of a honda civic. It is designed around the ercoup and has full suspended gear and a steerable nose wheel. We also made the wings be detachable like the real thing. This plane was a blast to fly and we even jatoed it. In V2 we improved the wing mounting and lightened up the plane as well as many other small things. We just finished the design a few days ago and have all of the parts printed for it. The last sheet will be cut out tomorrow on the erc. I will try to take photos throughout the build and make a bom later. The plans will be posted sometime in the next few days. I found that I only had 1 photo of the completed plane so there are some images of it in cad to.

i really like the 60 inch size primarily for visibility so i'm definitely interested in this one. i'm curious what are you powering it with.

It will be powered with the ft xl power pack which is a 2814 motor on a 11 in prop

Got all the parts made now starting to build! I will be taking photos as a build as well for anyone who wants to in the future.

The if the file size is too big, it'll show up as a file instead of a photo

I figured it out I just have to import them into inkscape and then export them

Yep, inkscape tends to compress image files a bit, making them a bit smaller

Or if you are on windows 10+ windows Photo's will allow to to just right click and resize it👍
