I'm not sure... Probably the plane if you know how to repair balsa planes (I don't, but I should learn so I can fix one of my friends planes... simple fix, really just needs some covering in some spots.
get that plane for sure, it's a rtf setup. probably a small improvement over what you already have. also, you could probably fly it acrobatic.
i guess my main concern is that i don't really want to fly a balsa plane rn... i have zero balsa/covering experience.... and it just seems way to risky to me to fly something that could take hours or days to repair if it is even repairable.... i mean the chances that i crash it are probably about 2-3

I'd get the tx for sure so you can at least have something that'll reliably work, not knocking on the old FM stuff because I used it up until a year ago with great success, it's just being able to program different models, rates, and reverse without getting out the little screwdriver to flip the dip switches it a definite plus. Granted, if you had a radio like a 7c or a 9c futaba I'd say keep it and get the plane because those are rock solid txs, but I'd say in your possession, the tx is the way to go. Not to mention that the airplane your looking at may or may not fly/work, seeing that it's a used scratch built with a shotty tx in my opinion. So I'd just get the hitec and I have a feeling that you'll be happy.
