Obviously set up for pusher configurations. I assume the thrust would be the same for a tractor prop config?

It generally would be about the same in both the pusher and tractor configuration.

I love the flitetest ending - not to bad maiden considering that it has the same aerodynamics as a pregnant cow.

Nice episode, but I think, that actual Tx/Rx is an overkill in most situations (especially if it's not a computerized radio). I think that simple servo tester instead would do just fine (but keep in mind that not all servo testers will work - it has to work with power coming from ESC's BEC)...
