When bombers came over Germany after a while yhey was flying too high for the fighters to fight them down. Germany needed a fighter who could work in much higher height than their fighters. Messerschmitt started and called it P.1091/ 155 , later Blom & Voss came into the designproduction and even later changed it all to their design BV 155B.

At start by ME it was build out from the 109, changes in motor, extended rearward mostly, and a little at front.......and with a whole other wider wing. It looked more as a sailplane (as all high-attitude rec. planes)
After a while, BV took the whole project, giving seaplane division to ME.

The most extended 109 idea looks most crazy for me, it was approx 30% buildt when ME ended the work. The model get a wingspan of 1500mm, length of 970mm, scaled down from original designproposal. Approx half the wing is flat, the outer half is angled up. I made a demount connection at where it changes for ease of transport. ( i must say, even if i made the tailsurfaces bigger... they look small..)
