Solved Micro receivers

I have a FlySky i6X. I am looking at micro receivers and found this one on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081CJFVFV/?tag=lstir-20. I want to run the motor/plane on 1S LiPo... 3.7V nominal.

On the ad, it says input is from 3.3 to 10 volts, so the receiver is good with 1S. What I'm wondering, I know all the servos I have are expecting the more typical 5 to 6V an ESC BEC puts out. Would you think this has some kind of DC-to-DC boost converter and outputs 5V or expects to have servos that are good with 3.7 volts?

Thanks.

Use the nano linear servos that Spektrum/Horizon Hobby uses on their 1s planes.

I have a half dozen of those receivers. They work great! I use them in all my Mighty Minis You can get them at a much better price on eBay.

Chances are you'll need to run micro servos that can run on 1s input. They make linear servos like LitterBug mentioned and regular rotary servos. Big thing to make sure of it that the servo plug matches the port on the receiver, there are a couple different plugs that get used.

I wouldn’t expect this to have any converter. I think this behaves the same as any other receiver, just smaller.

You’d probably want something like this…

Or even this one with servos built in…

Much better... Wow! 5-channels, servos built-in, and Gyro. I'll try this one! Thanks.

I've never used these tiny linear servos - What FT designs have you flown these on (as in... how big an FT can use these things)?

It has a link to other servos that use those tiny connectors too.
