Loved the video of the flight. It looked great in the sky. Noobie question: where does one go to print sheets (the plans)?

You can open the PDF in acrobat and have it print in tile with cut marks or Staples will print full sized.

Airworthiness Directive: The booms are beginning to weaken just behind the wing and just before the horizontal stabilizer (yeah, I saw that coming but.....). Reinforce with a bbq skewer or cf rod.

Airworthiness Directive #2: Now that the booms aren't flopping around I found the worst adverse yaw I've seen since the big DR1 I built. The fix is to cant the aileron servo horns forward so that you get more up deflection than down. I guess it's that or put on rudders.

So.... Even with skewers the booms didn't last long. I've made the booms a little taller for strength and increased the V stab size to help with the adverse yaw. Also put 5mm cf tube in the booms - it adds about 20g to the overall weight but the moment arm is easily compensated for by moving the battery forward. I'll let you know how it works

It still flies great but a little faster. It went from:
AUW: 450grams (with 1300 3s battery)
to
AUW: 496grams (with 1300 3s battery)
so about a 10% increase.
All the changes:
5mm cf in the booms
Booms taller and larger V stab
Battery tray lowered for more room

Mr NCT updated Mighty Mini Cessna Skymaster with a new update entry:

Mighty Mini Skymaster V3

Versions 1 and 2 had their problems. A little twitchy, small battery compartment and the booms were fragile. In V3 I have:

• Increased the size overall to 110% of the original
• Put in a larger battery space
• Increased the boom size and V stabs
• Added an extra layer of fb to the spar for a higher aspect airfoil
• Most importantly added 5mm carbon fiber tube to the booms
