Here's my collection of Mighty Mini, the Fokker DR1, SE5A and my own Tiger Moth. They are all powered by 2S 850 on a 1500kv Brushless turning a 9x5 Prop. Good for slow flight in the park.

They look great. I had a big problem with both the se5 and dr1. Built from kits, balanced correctly but would not fly. Suspect bad thrust angle. A previous post said he 3s printed a new pod with what he said was the correct thrust angle. How are your flying using the kit pod?

It will not fly well with 90° / 90° . Mine was made out of 3mm Birch Ply with 2° Right Angle. Fly very well with 2S 850mAh on a 1500kv spinning 9x5 SF Prop.

hi, always the motor to use in Mighty Mini is the 2205, 2300kv. Has anyone used another motor and propeller setup?
