Dose anyone have some paint schemes ideas? I used blue foam so the ''base'' is blue. And the poster board is black.
Thanks

I am a fan of this paint scheme, but honestly it is up to you how you want your plane.

Here's mine, although I'm not sure if it counts as a true FT Mini Sportster. I modified it to look like a GeeBee Sportster Model X.
I'm working on a forum post currently and eventually plans of my edits. It flies like a sporty sweetheart, though it was mess in the air at first because the maiden was the first time I had flown in 10 years lol.

All that's left is to make the motor, and I'm working on the aileron linkages. And then a question came up: why are the aileron servos at the bottom? The horn servos are literally a few mm off the ground. If the flight field isn't level, I think the servos will break quickly. I'm thinking of moving them to the top of the wing. What do you think?

I looked through the thread carefully, and it turns out someone already made the servos at the top in post #13. I'll do the same.

The first time I flew this plane, it was pulled down and to the left, it wouldn't fly at all. Today was the second time, the motor angle was down a little, now it's neutral, there's a little to the left. Now it's flying, but under throttle, it's climbing. Well, that's fixable. But the fact that it still pulls to the left, even with a significant amount of aileron trim, is bad. It's clearly a flaw in the airframe's geometry.

Any thoughts on what the problem might be? Maybe the wing isn't perpendicular to the fuselage, or maybe one wing needs to be lowered slightly and the other raised relative to the elevator's horizontal stabilizer?
Everything looks fine to the eye.

My wings weren't perfectly centered on the fuselage, or one wing was slightly longer or heavier than the other. I moved a wing slightly, and it flew without a roll. It's too bad the plans don't show any slots in the wing where the fuselage fits.
I also thought it lost quite a bit of altitude when turning, although mine isn't that heavy, at 240 grams.
