Mini-Cruiser Prop Rotation

I guess this question could be for about any plane.

I am going to build a mini cruiser. I'll be using two Emax MT2204 motors. One CCW and the other CW. I also will be using carbon fiber, multi-rotor 6X3 props. One CCW and the other CW.

Question:
Is there a recommended way for the props to spin? Should they spin towards each other at the top? Towards each other at the bottom? Doesn't matter? Not recommended?

I appreciate any thoughts that anyone has on the subject. Or, if someone could point me to the proper resource.

Thanks.

I think most do towards each other at the top but I don't think it matters as long as they spin opposite each other. I want to do a twin soo bad! I had my eyes on the mini guinea or the mini cruiser too.

Are you doing differential thrust?

I'm thinking differential thrust but not to do the crazy flat spin stuff. I think that it would be good for taxi and then just fly without rudder.

I'd like to fly it with one rotation and then flip to the other (just to see the difference in rotations) but the motors would need to be swapped. Not sure I want to do that.

Maneuvering With Purpose
When they are inboard turning (towards each other at the top) you have the torque opposite the direction of thrust. This is more balanced, safer, and more conducive to safe flight on only one engine. Full scale aircraft favor this setup.

The "crazy modeler" way is to make them outboard turning (tips together at the bottom). This configuration adds thrust and torque together to really accentuate the differential thrust.

You guys have saved me some time. I learned something too. Because I like to keep my planes more towards the center of the air and not at the edges (where the trees and houses are), I will go with the "inboard turning" rotation.

Thanks
