Mini Vector

Finished up scratch build mini vector body in two days. Really enjoyed this one mainly because it is so different from other standard ones I have built. Flite test is out of foam board unless you are ready to purchase 50 sheets. And didn't want to go with dollar store stuff that isn't water resistant. Found a 10 pack of water resistant board in Amazon for only $39. This model took only two sheets. This product seems exactly like the Adams stuff that FT sells. I tested some with paints and glaze and it works great.

It even says great for model airplanes so I bet they used the ft foam and just raised the price a ton cause if u wanted 50 it would be like 200 dollars.

manufacturer is different I think. And $3.90 a sheet. But free shipping for Prime members. And got it in a day.

vector is a fun plane but you need to do the rudder mod to make it a great plane. without you wont be able to maintain the slow, high alphas that it is capable of. with it you can hover the plane like it's 3D.

thnx for advice. I'm away from being skilled enough for 3d, but maybe this one will help me work towards it

maidened this morning. A Very fun airplane to fly. Faster than any FT model I have done so far

Enjoyed build and flying the mini vector so much, decided to do FT Charlie. This one a little more challenging than the vector to build. I like that it is interchangeable with three different wings. Thinking of putting some light landing gear and steerable nosewheel on it.
