I'm looking to design a Mirage 2000 with a 64mm FMS 3S rated EDF. Are there any plans available for this that are good?
Thx

Got a few in the works new. A 40mm edf and a 64mm edf. About half way done. Need to put the top of the wing on the small jet still. Also, I wanted to try making things a little more rounded like the real thing. They're starting to take shape. I gotta work out the nose sections as well. I've left them ruffed in.

Got it all painted accept for a bit of color on the leading edge and top of wing. Need control surfaces too. I wanted to show everyone how I now make a canopy for planes like this. With a little thinking, I have a very realistic look here. I'm proud of this build. Very happy with it so far. And I will throw it myself when ready!!

Wow - that does look great! I really like e clear canopy. I haven’t done that on any of my builds - yet... ;)

Perfect! What was the material you used again?
Just some transparency film for overhead projectors at least 4.5mm think is the standard. I think a 6mm would be just a little stronger. Still the 4.5mm is sturdy enough. I took this from work. Our sales reps use this for the covers for sales proposals if that helps source some for free... ;)

It seems like any clear flexible plastic would work, right? I'll see what I can find.

Net all plastics can handle the heat of a glue gun... for e.g.: pop bottle plastic melts and curls.
The corsair is one of my build-ruary challange planes so I have to have it done in 9 days. I'll see if I can find something to do a clear canopy with. If not, there are a couple other master series planes at the top of my list that I can try it on.

If you know of a photocopier at your work or else where that has clear film they print on. Its also ment to handle 200 degrees. Staples or print shops can sell you a piece for a buck.

So, I've never flown a plane that had elevens and a rudder before. What should I expect?
Same as any other plane I would imagine. If its balanced right I should get a straight Direct flight...
