Mobius mounts from ID cards

No flying here for weeks, I'm going stir crazy. So I took to bending up some ID cards and here's the result.
3 different mounts for my mobius. Quick, cheap and easy….but as yet untested.
Materials - cable ties, clear gaffer tape, hot glue, double sided tape, foam board for the upright core and rubber bands.

The one that the camera is mounted on in the pic should work well. You might consider adding more weight to the piece the camera mounts on.

I can tell you what won't work... I tried mounting my GoPro clone on top of my Old Fogey. I assumed it would be top-heavy, but didn't anticipate just how uncontrollable it would be. The camera is fine, the plane... not so much -- it has been retired from flight duties.

I've now acquired one of the famous 808 #16 cameras. A strip of velcro holds it to the wing of my Old Fogey (Mark II)... with a safety tether, of course. This flies much better -- I've had it above 1,000' and obtained some nice video.

I also concur with the option on the left. Not only will it damp out vibrations, but lower is better (closer to the c/g).

Good luck!
