Mock Radial For Master Series P47

Hey guys, i finally finished and am releasing my design for a mock radial engine. The engine files can be found on Thingiverse here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4460787 . The design allows for a adequate amount of room for the flite test radial engine as well as it also fitting snugly into the cowling. The engine was glued together with medium strength CA glue. It was then painted and finished with with pieces of Red Wire. The Plane that this will be going on is the P47 "Fearless D*ck/Wild Bette".

Haha the plane is still undergoing paint and detail work. The plane has had its maiden flight and has been trimmed out. The plane should be done in about a week or two. Here are some teasers for the time being.

That looks awesome in silver as a razorback. I just pucked up some aluminum paint. So doin that to this...

What paint did you use

The paint used is Duplicolor chrome, and it was laid on top of a white primer base. As usual, a layer of Minwax was first applied to the foam in order to prevent any damage to the foam the paint may have caused. Here are a few more updates:

How did you do the rivets

How did you do the rivets

The rivets are done using a small brass tube. The end of the tube is heated up and then touched to the paint. Having the chrome as a base really allows for the rivets to pop in the colored areas.

Thank you! Definitely a plane I hope to show off at Flite Fest next year if possible.

Update: Finished the canopy last night using some black vinyl and the stencils provided by FT. Another addition was the tail numbers, as well as the group numbers. And of course the stars and bars on the right side of the fuselage.
