It is similar in concept but not in application. I started the project with vanes but achieved amazing results after switching to thrust vectoring...

Forgot to set the timer before flight, so cut the flight short... Normally gets close to 7 minutes...

Going through some old files, I came across hundreds of old videos, most of them not published, of test flights and many crashes. Then I came across to this test flight on a very windy day. I don’t remember exactly what I was testing, maybe MAG maybe just a balance test against the wind. Watch the older videos in this forum to see some high speed flight.

This is my unit that means the world to me. It has recycled parts on it from my first unit that I used to run after at the park, because it was very incapable This unit is the first one to reach high speeds with great balance!

Hobbyking was interested in this unit and it was actually shipped to HobbyKing for videos. They said that they took some videos and will publish them but I never heard anything again.

When I got it back 2 of the thrust vectoring servos were damaged. I fixed them and it is still in flying condition. I’ll actually probably take it out for a spin these days.
