Monster Retro Rocket 120mm EDF?

Do any of you have the Monster Retro Rocket running the 120mm EDF? I'm going to print the housing & fans since I don't want to pay $400 USD +/- for a complete unit on most sites. Has anyone played around with their own motor size for it? I'd like to know about any variations in size & kv rating. Thanks.

I found this video, but he only got 1 Kg of thrust... that's not a lot for a monster retro rocket.

I was just about to ask that. Shouldn't a 120 have at least eight blades or am I missing something?

12 blades seems to be the best for EDF's.

Yup, there's another 120mm edf design on thingiverse too. I'm sure you can find it by using the search bar. 😂

Hmmm GE high bypass turbo jets have a hundred fan blades. Is that why you have only 2 on a 767?
