Yeah that should be fine....Maybe get on customer support and see id they can send you a replacement....Or you could get this and i know it works because my brother uses it in one of his planes e and it works great!
Thank you for the reconmendation! Do you recomend i get the same motor I got the past two times again or do you think I should get a different one?

Does the motor spin freely when screwed down to the firewall? I had an issue once where the hole for the motor shaft was not big enough and caused friction. Another time, I forgot to punch a hole in the tape I had used over the firewall.

Yeah he said it does.....My brother did that once too and we thought it was his motor....

My son asked that. To clarify, the 1400 won't ship until the end of this month but the 2200 can be here tomorrow. I think that is what he was asking. He plans to buy the recommended ESC.

You don’t want the 2200. Higher kv is like having the same power but geared higher. You need a smaller prop to use a higher kv motor, probably a 6”. Otherwise it will burn out the motor.

Even if you did get an appropriate smaller prop, it’s not a good choice for that plane. You want a big slow prop for good torque to get out of stalls. A 1000kv motor with a 9 or 10 inch prop is best for the Tutor.

Speaking of which, what prop are you using on the 1400?
