I recently did a repair on my umx cub.
the whole front section came off behind the foam mock cowling.
i put it all back together and she flies but not as good as it originally did.
i noticed the motor and prop was turned slightly to the right and i was wondering if
this was normal to counteract the torque.

or

have i pushed the motor to the right when she crashed ?

Sumone, I cannot speak to your specific plane but in the vast majority of my tractor style planes, when viewed from the orientation in your photo, a slight angle to the right is normal. When viewed horizontally a slight downward angle is normal as well. This helps counteract torque roll and the propensity for these models to shoot upwards when throttle is applied.
